Pilar is my first Somali and has as such probably been the cat that is closest to my ideal for what a Somali should look like. Even though she has faults, she also has many of the things that make Somali for me: the Elegance! The Silky Fur! The LOOK that says "Touch me and you'll die!", all at the same time being a very mild and loving cat.

Pilar's show career has been unstable, from being Ex2 to BIV and NOM, but now it's over. She has achieved the title International Champion, she has had 4 litters and is now spayed and is now a cosy pet at home.

She is still the uncrowned queen of the house and reigns over all others with a mild but certain paw.
